Apple’s 2026 Product Roadmap Leaks: Foldable iPhone, iPhone 18 Pro, M5 Macs and More Expected

July 7, 2026 by Business News Leave a Comment

Apple could be gearing up for one of its busiest product release cycles in recent years, with reports suggesting the company is preparing to introduce up to 16 new devices by the end of 2026. The rumored lineup spans smartphones, Macs, iPads, Apple Watches and smart home products, reflecting Apple’s broader push into artificial intelligence and next-generation hardware.

Although the company has not officially confirmed these products, industry reports indicate that several launches delayed during the development of Apple’s upgraded Siri experience are now moving forward.

Foldable iPhone May Lead Apple’s Biggest Launch Cycle

Among the most anticipated devices is Apple’s long-rumored foldable iPhone, which is expected to debut as the iPhone Ultra.

The device is rumored to feature a large foldable inner display measuring around 7.8 inches, paired with a smaller outer screen of approximately 5.5 inches. Reports also suggest Apple may replace Face ID with a Touch ID-enabled power button and introduce multitasking features in iOS 27 designed specifically for foldable devices.

If launched, the iPhone Ultra would mark Apple’s first entry into the foldable smartphone market.

iPhone 18 Pro Series Could Receive Major Upgrades

Apple is also expected to refresh its flagship smartphone lineup with the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.

According to leaks, both models may be powered by the new A20 Pro processor, feature a redesigned and smaller Dynamic Island, upgraded camera technology, Apple’s next-generation C2 modem, and enhanced satellite connectivity capabilities.

These improvements are expected to deliver faster performance, improved photography and stronger wireless communication.

Macs Set for M5 and M6 Processor Refresh

Apple’s Mac portfolio is also expected to receive significant hardware upgrades.

The Mac Studio, Mac mini, and iMac are rumored to transition to the new M5-series chips, bringing higher performance and improved energy efficiency.

Meanwhile, reports indicate that Apple could launch an entry-level 14-inch MacBook Pro powered by the upcoming M6 chip, while a redesigned premium MacBook model featuring an OLED touchscreen may also be under development.

iPads to Gain Apple Intelligence Features

The company’s tablet lineup is expected to receive notable improvements as well.

The standard iPad may move to an A18 or A19 processor, enabling support for Apple Intelligence features, while the iPad mini could receive an OLED display, upgraded chipset, improved speakers and better durability.

These changes would further strengthen Apple’s AI-powered ecosystem across its devices.

Apple Watch and Smart Home Devices Also Expected

Apple’s wearable lineup is also rumored to expand with the launch of the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4.

Both smartwatches could feature faster processors, enhanced health tracking capabilities and expanded satellite communication features. Some reports also suggest Apple is exploring Touch ID integration for future wearable devices.

In the smart home segment, Apple is believed to be developing a new Home Hub equipped with a built-in display, Apple Intelligence features and FaceTime support, allowing users to control connected smart home devices from a central interface.

The company is also expected to introduce updated versions of the Apple TV, HomePod, and HomePod mini, featuring newer processors, Wi-Fi 7 support and deeper Siri integration.

AI Expected to Drive Apple’s Next Generation of Devices

Many of the upcoming products are expected to benefit from Apple’s growing focus on artificial intelligence following the rollout of its next-generation Siri platform.

Industry observers believe the company’s future hardware strategy will increasingly revolve around on-device AI, improved productivity features and tighter integration across the Apple ecosystem.

Launch Timeline

While Apple has yet to officially announce its 2026 product roadmap, reports suggest several of these devices could debut over the coming months, with additional launches extending into late 2026.

If the rumored plans materialize, Apple could deliver one of its most extensive hardware refreshes in years, covering nearly every major product category while strengthening its position in smartphones, personal computing, wearables and smart home technology.
